At niogod™, we are building the spatial intelligence required for the next generation of autonomous mobility. While our core philosophy is mapless, we utilize high-fidelity 3D reconstruction and SLAM to build the ground-truth data engines that train our neural networks. We are looking for an engineer to bridge the gap between geometric computer vision and scalable machine learning.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Spatial Algorithms: Implement and optimize algorithms for large-scale Visual SLAM and 3D scene reconstruction.
  • Ground Truth Generation: Develop automated tools for 3D scene synthesis and HD-mapping used exclusively for training and validating our ML models.
  • Data Engine Architecture: Build and maintain a continuous learning data engine that ingests fleet data to improve system performance.
  • Optimization: Fine-tune multi-view stereo and bundle adjustment pipelines to handle massive datasets with high precision.

What we require:

  • Advanced Foundation: MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or equivalent experience in spatial computing.
  • Vision Expertise: Professional experience in Computer Vision, specifically relating to geometric reconstruction or localization.
  • Production Coding: Strong proficiency in C++ (for performance-critical geometry) and Python (for data orchestration and tooling).
  • Agile Mindset: A proactive learner who enjoys solving open-ended problems in a fast-paced environment.

It’s a plus if you have:

  • Hands-on experience with sensor calibration, Structure from Motion (SfM), or Point Cloud processing (PCL).
  • Experience with Ceres Solver, g2o, or similar non-linear optimization libraries.
  • Experience working on mid-to-large scale software architectures or distributed data pipelines.
